This problem occurs on both my Vista Business and XP-SP2 system.

When using the Registry Cleaner (RAW mode, aggressive), and when the list of registry items to be deleted is large, and having selected all the items for deletion, Build 446 does not delete all the selected registry keys. It deletes approximately 1/3 of them. To get the rest of the keys, a second scan is required.

As an example, on my XP-SP2 system, the first run of RegCleaner found 1917 keys to be deleted. I selected them all for deletion. The deletion started and cleaned of 378 items. I had to repeat the scan for the remainder of the keys. A third scan showed no keys requiring deletion.

This also occurred earlier on my Vista Business system.

my problem is that i get "failed to fix file reference " " there is no way to automatically fix the file reference. Most likely the best option would be to remove the entire file reference from the registry".....there is no way to exit out of this screeen either and i basically have to end task to kill the program so the registry cleaner is useless unless i do it all manually at this point...this has happened on the prior 2008 beta version too for the registry cleaner and the issue has not been resolved...PT 2007 works great this has too many bugs right now and the registry cleaner seems to be no different at all as far as the errors it has found...maybe it is better but i would like to know how it is better...

I have also been having to manually remove most of the entrys found. It doesn't like any thing with "" or MRU's. Using 2007 with ot the problem.

This is a known bug in the program, I'm afraid. But we are working hard to try to fix it. The next version will be released in this week, I'm hoping to get some kind of solution to this problem then.

A similar problem exists with the File Finder and File Cleaner results lists. Some selected files remain on the list and are not deleted.

That part of the problem is not real serious. One can just click the Delete button again, or rescan.
