I can't succesfully order an upgrade.


I selected "Upgrade from PT 2005/2006/2007", game my old order number and email address. After giving credit card number, I was forwarded to page that says "Payment accepted!" (http://dmp2.luottokunta.fi/...). I got an new order id, pressed Continue, and got an error message:


Warning: require_once(/home/www21320/html/site/order_failure.html) to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/htdocs/php/order_success.php on line 25.


Order tracking says:


"The "Waiting payment" status means that the order has been received and saved to the system.


However, the payment has not been received yet. If you entered your credit card information correctly the payment should be verified in a few minutes. The order will not be handled before the payment has been verified. "

Well I don't even get in step 3 (order verification).

After having entered my name, order number and email address and after clicking "continue" I get the error message: "You have already purchased an upgrade license!".

Well I have NOT!

The e-shop drives me crazy :

I had same message as Redseujac. Although I have purchased license twice since using free version since 2001. BTW, if Redseujac is the translator of multi jv16 products why does he have to buy a upgrade??? For all that work he deserves a lifetime of free upgrades !!!

When I attempt to buy the software, as an update or upgrade, having had versions 2006 and 2007,I am never shown the update/upgrade price in the column, so am unable to purchase 2008 for the upgrade/update price of $6.95. All I get are the personal license and the others. I am using XP2, and having been testing 2008, for at least 3 previous versions. Maybe the software, could connect the website to the proper login area for this. I would imagine that most testers, are registered owners of previous versions, if that is the case, then, by clicking on the shopping cart, it should directly go to sales, with the update price,automatically shown, instead of showing the full personal license or any of the other licenses.

I've got same problem as you all do with upgrade payments. It happened to me before with vesions 2005 and 2006. I think the developer, Jouni, of this software must take care about proper billing and not people whom he entrusted to do the payments online. I think it should be fair to all customers. Unfortunately, improper billing online can put a shadow on the developer of this remarkable program and reppel all future customers! If I'm wrong, please, prove it.

In order to get the upgrade option, you must select the upgrade from the online store's first step. But this is very easy to miss, so I added a link to the upgrade option to the normal PT 2008 purchase screen as well.

This is actually something that I'm thinking of doing, first thing on Monday. However, I'm not 100% certain if it's technically possible but I hope so.

Yesterday I had the original problem trying to upgrade:

After reading the quoted reply from jv16 I tried again today, but am now facing another error message:

"The original order's payment or product information is not valid" - which I know it is.


Would you please look at your system once again?

Macecraft should in any case take more care of the e-shop in the future, if not, some (many?) potential buyers could pull out.

I might as well my voice to the forum. I also am receiving a message "The original order's payment or product is not valid". Of course, this is not true as I am running 2007 with a valid license file.

Yesterday evening I got the same warning as yksjannu initally posted, but now I the upgrade worked for me.

Now I got throug to payment too, but i'm not shure if my Visacart was accepted?? I wass rederected somewhere to netbank, can someone explain how this payment work?

Why can't I pay with my Visacard the normal way. After filling out the form it asks me for a net-ID, I have never seen this before.


I used my Visacard ten minutes ago to bye some music and it works fine without a net-ID, is it some Luottokunta security??

I had the same problem as yksjannu yesterday (Sat 2nd March).

Seems that new users can't get a licence and existing users can't upgrade.

Trust that this will get sorted out on Monday morning!
