I have tried two times to "wipe free space" using disk wiper JV16PT2007 to get rid of the deleted information on the free space. After both tries, all information (name, file extension, size,...) about deleted files occupying the free space are recoverable and can be viewed.
Is there something I am missing? I thought the purpose of wiping the free space was to eliminate probability of deleted files being recovered.
Any information and guidance is appreciated
Win XP, SP2 along with latest version of JV 16PT2007 and 2G mem
