jv16 PT 2007 Build 422 (1.7.0.422)

RE: Registry Cleaner, with results in raw list format

"Custom Fix", "Fix" & "Delete" Buttons stop responding.

I have a Very Annoying problems that I first noticed in a friends' PC that has jv16 PT 2007 installed,

& now it is occurring in my own PC every time I run Registry Cleaner:

I always Fix errors in separate groups according to some arbitrary criteria (eg according to the error's severity => High, Medium, Low, Lowest).

When I select the 1st lot of errors to fix, it gets done normally.....

But when I select the next lot nothing happens when I click on the "Fix" or "Delete" or "Custom Delete" buttons.....

..& the only way to repair is to rerun Registry Cleaner again....

Thus I can only repair one lot of errors for each Registry Cleaner run....

And for each group I have to rerun Registry Cleaner again, until I have repaired all the reported errors....

This used to happen Very rarely, now it's happening every time I use Registry Cleaner.....

And it's also happening in my friend's PC every time it is used....

I wonder if jv16 will still fix problems in jv16 PT 2007, because te new (beta)version 2008 will be released soon.

I have the same problem but its been since i upgraded to the new release around beging dec 2007 (1.7.0.422 from 1.7.0.420)

I'm rather sure I have now located the problem, it requires a lot of work to fix it (a lot of rewriting required) but it will be done for the first beta version of jv16 PowerTools 2008. The first beta will be released in this week.

Please pleeeasssssse PLEASE ensure that is the case, as jv16 PT 2007 has been ruined by the recurring interface problems.....

And Please dont rush to the public beta release of 2008, & instead increase the duration of the non public/internal alpha & beta stages.....

I can't really ensure that the problem is fixed because I can't reproduce it in any enviroment, but you can: simply download the beta version when it's released and let me know if the problem still occurs.

The next version will not be rushed. PT 2007 has been a very stable product with very few serious bugs and we intend to make PT 2008 even better. By the way, the bug discussed here is also a very rare one (less than 1 in 1000 users are affected, based on user feedback).
