Using jv16 2007 V 1.7.0.416. One Click Cleaner was more thorough than I expected, so I went to my backup. jv16 said restore worked OK. I rebooted the machine, but nothing is back where it was. Is OCC a non-restorable function, or have I left out a necessary step?

Thank you,

What exactly did you do with the One Click Cleaner, and how did you try to restore the backup? How did you determine that the backup wasn't in fact restored?

since I couldn'y find any info one One Click, I just gave it a click, after selecting the backup option. To restore, I went to the backup tab in jv16 and selected the file with the appropriate date stamp. A progress bar started and ended. I don't think the restore worked completely because the bookmarks and add-ins for firefox are still gone and the shortcuts that used to be on my default desktop are still not available.

Sir, if you just "gave it a click" without selecting any operations to be run, you'd only seen:

": The following information must be provided in order to start:

* At least one operation mode, you can use either the Delete files, Flush directories, Empty directories and/or Other tabs."
