Probmes with JV tools

I have two problems with the latest version. one minor and one stops JV tools from working without a re-install.

1) Every upgrade leaves my desktop JV descritpion at 2005 tools.

2) I use several disk cleaners and registry cleaners, JV tools security rating window after a JV sweep is removed by one of my cleaning programs.

Is there a way to resolve these problems.

I don't quite understand either of the two problems, could you please describe the problems with more detail?

The first one is, I think, that the shortcut icon on the desktop is not changed after an upgrade.

Rename or delete and recreate.

Is that it?
