I've been having a strange problem with jv16PT2007. When I install on a machine/partition that I use for music it sometimes refuses to open. If I reboot it might open then. But with another reboot it might not. If it does not open and I reinstall then it will open but that does not guarentee on reboot it will open again. I've been trying to see if some particular program install is causing the problem but it is difficult to say because the problem is not consistent. I only have it though on my music partition. I use the program Sonar which installs MS C++ 2005 as part of its install. I suspect Sonar may have something to do with it but can't say for sure. I've started from a blank winxp Pro install but still cannot pinpoint the issue. My machine uses a Tyan motherboard with opteron dual core processors so maybe that has something to do with it. I do know that if it opens once it will open consistently for that session but if it does not open then it won't open at all no matter how many times you try. Any one have any kind of experience similar? I know that when it does not open it is not running invisibly as the task manager does not show it running.
