I ran File Cleaner with all the default settings except for the fact that I also asked it to find empty files. It "mostly" did the right thing, but some (many) of the files it found were ones that it obviously shouldn't have because those files didn't even come close to meeting any of the search criteria. Examples were Word (.doc) files of several Kb in my data storage folders. I don't see any other postings on this, and I am wondering why. I can't be the only one to notice this. Because of the large number of items it finds and the fairly high number of them that don't meet the criteria, I wouldn't dare use the tool unless I had several hours available to sort through the data. Could I be doing something wrong, or is this to be expected?
