To what version of the program you are referring to? If you have antivirus program installed, have you tried to disable it before launching jv16 PowerTools?
Are you using a trial version or have you bought the program?
Could you create a file called DebugMode.dat to the installation directory of the program (C:\Program files\jv16 PowerTools 2007\ by default)? This makes the program to start in a special debug mode, and output a file called debug log to your desktop. If you could post the contents of that file here, it could help to solve the problem.
