JV16 Does not start under Vista

JV16 won't start under Vista Business 32 bit, even when run as administrator. Someone have a solution?

To what version of the program you are referring to? If you have antivirus program installed, have you tried to disable it before launching jv16 PowerTools?

Are you using a trial version or have you bought the program?

Could you create a file called DebugMode.dat to the installation directory of the program (C:\Program files\jv16 PowerTools 2007\ by default)? This makes the program to start in a special debug mode, and output a file called debug log to your desktop. If you could post the contents of that file here, it could help to solve the problem.

I am using registered version 1.7.0.416 on Windows Vista Business. When I tried to launch JV16 again this time it worked. There was a boot between to 2 atempts. It happens from time to time. Because it worked there is nothing in the file DebugMode.dat.
