Version 1.7.0.416, Windows XP Home

I ran the Disk Wiper facility, setting it to 'Wipe only free space' on my C drive.

There was no indication of low disk space before running the facility.

The warning about low disk space was given, as predicted by the program, and ignored.

The warning now appears frequently.

Why?

Please navigate to the root of your C drive, there will be a large file created by jv16 PT. You can delete it and you'll get all your free space back.

Sometimes the program fails to delete the temp file used in the wipe process, but it's not a very serious problem as you can just delete it yourself.

It would be useful if you gave the name of the file, I can't just go and delete anything which looks "big".

The file name is randomly generated and it's different each time, but it would look something like: jv16_PT00722B5B.Dat

I can't see any such file.

It's not 'loose' on the C drive, not loose in 'Program Files' and it isn't in the jv16 folder.

However, since encountering the problem I have use a couple of software laxatives -

jv16's File Cleaner and Registry Cleaner, and CCleaner.

I haven't seen the 'Low Disk Space' warning since then so is it safe to assume that the file was deleted by one of those?
