I'm having a problem with this process consuming 90-99% of system resources everytime I bootup. Today it did so for 10 minutes before I terminated it. Why is it running in the first place when I'm not running Power Tools? Should it be there? I've been using PT for quite a while and this problem only recently popped up, or at least I only recently noticed that this process is the culprit behind a very noticeable lagtime in bootup speed.
