Within the past couple of days, I upgraded to version 413 of JV16 2007. When running Registry Cleaner, I have gotten a very high number of MRU entries (5930+-). When I attempt to remove these entries, it takes a very long time, but eventually, it appears as if those entries go away. However, when I run Registry Cleaner again, all of those entries come back.
I have seen some other posts which recommend cleaning these up with the History Cleaner. I do this, and now it appears as if those MRU entries are permanently gone.
My question is: Shouldn't I be able to clean those up with Registry Cleaner, without having the entries come back? This may be a moot point because it now appears that they are permanently gone, so I should not expect to return to those levels if I clean regularly, but just want to know. Thanks.
