Re-installing jv16

I have changed OS from XP Home to Pro and re-installed my programs. I re-installed jv16 to the same folder on the same drive that it was on origianlly. Now each time I run jv16 it is as though I am using it for the first time, I have to go through the introduction screens and download a cache. How can I stop this?

Try to delete the Settings directory and the MainSettings.dat and then reinstall the program.
