RegSupreme V1.7 on Vista Home Premium

I just installed RegSupreme on my Vista Home Premium notebook. I right-clicked the installer and ran it as administrator and also right-clicked the RegSupreme program and ran it as administrator.

RegSupreme appears to find things in the registry, and allow the things it finds to be backed up; however, the Fix button seems to have no effect.

Am I not doing something right? I saw an earlier post that seems to state that this is a known problem. If so, when will it be fixed?

I put the new version on my Laptop and have the same problem. After a scan it shows a lot of problems, l select them all -- name the backup file and then hit OK and nothing happens.

The previous version worked on my system and it is a great product.

Any answers out there?? Help please

I bought RegSupreme on 2/28/2007 for my PC that ran XP. It simply does not work on Vista. How can I obtain a refund?

There is a bug in the latest version of RegSupreme (as well as all our other products) that causes the Fix button not to work on certain systems. The bug is our top priority and it will be fixed for the next version.

No need. I just looked and there is an update out that I have verified to have fixed this problem. Thx.

I installed the update and still have the same problem. Nothing happens after I hit the fix button. I will go back to the old program that did work with vista -- when will this be fixed????

This is a stupid question but.....

After scan, are you going to "select" in the pull down menu and selecting "All" then "fix"? If you are, are they checked? Are you using "Raw List" under the "Results Format" tab?

Do you have administrative rights? I have had issues with other programs not working because of this and privileges.

I have Vista and Regsupreme Pro works fine (not that no one else should have a problem).
