Registry Finder (v 1.7.0.413) and "TrustedInstaller" (?)

Problem #1:

The tool fails to find/show certain registry items. Search word examples:

  • %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Ink\InkObj.dll

    %CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Ink\

    6E4FCB12-510A-4d40-9304-1DA10AE9147C

    E5CA59F5-57C4-4DD8-9BD6-1DEEEDD27AF4

There are at least 32 registry values matching the first search word (per CCcleaner). Apparently only the TrustedInstaller "user" has full control for the items. CCleaner shows the items as ActiveX/COM issues, but of course can't remove them.

Problem #2:

File Cleaner triggered the CCleaner hits when it removed 4 ink-related "unused shared DLLs" -- restore from backup caused the hits to disappear.

Does the Search feature of RegEdit find these items?

I used v 1.7.0.416 Reg Finder to search for the CLSID 6E4FCB12-510A-4d40-9304-1DA10AE9147C on my XP Pro system.

It finds it there but does not find it in Vista. RegEdit finds it in Vista.
