Hey,

yes, I noticed that, too.

And I hope this is an error and mistake, because we need settings/options and in the program installation folder of RegSupreme Pro, there a folder with settings and there are much settings..! :?

I hope we can set them into and within the GUI and not only via manual editing the *.dat files.. :

best regards,

No, it's by design: there never has been settings in RegSupreme (Pro). They exist only in jv16 PowerTools.

The subdirectories "Snapshot" and "Tasks" are useless because they don't match an existing tool in RegSupreme (Pro).

Some of the files in the subdir "Settings" are useless too for the same reason (the matching tool doesn't exist in RegSupreme (Pro), only in jv16 PowerTools) :

The RegSupreme's are lightweight versions of jv16 PowerTools, lightweight means that many features have been stripped out.

There's no Settings window because the default settings should be perfectly fine for most users, if advanced users wish to use RegSupreme or RegSupreme Pro and change the settings manual editing of the settings file is the only way.

Guess I missed the point -- thought you were joking about that bug ... :

Let me put it this way; if the sequence to open Backup Tool was "Tools >> Backup Tool" then there would be no WTF! factor and this thread wouldn't be here.
