This new version doesn't remember vertical window size of main PT2007 window, but the horizontal size is remembered correctly. The previous version doesnt have this problem. Please fix this problem. Thanks

If you drag the main window so it's taller than needed, it seems to remember that across PT launches.


If you exclude some icons using Show, then resize to remove the white space, it remembers that until the next time you launch PT.


The window then reverts to a size big enough to hold all the icons including the ones not shown. All the white space is back.

Yep it only remembers the size when we use the software continually but after we close the main window and start it again, the vertical size of main window is always set back to some fixed size (never changed). I've tried to resize the vertical window in other sizes (smallest, middle, a bit longer, etc) but it always revert back to same fixed size after restart of the software. Previous version no have this problem, please fix this Jouni Vuori. Thanks :)

This bug is now fixed, thank you for reporting. I'm afraid the standard Windows caption cannot be used in windows with menus. But we'll fix this sooner or later, most likely PT 2008 will contain an option to select whether you wish to see the standard Windows caption bar or not.

Please give step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce this problem, everything works perfectly in my test environments.

Steps:


1. Hides some tools from main window until the vertical (up/down) window is resizeable.


2. Resize the vertical size of main jv16 PT main window until the white part (window part where no tools can be seen) gone. Notes: its not matter how far the resize done by us, the software simply not remember it.


3. Close/quit the jv16 PT software.


4. Re-open the software, in my case the vertical size always revert back to same size (white parts can be seen again) no matter what size i set before.


Btw after checking windows.dat file (a setting file that save window size) everytime i resize the vertical window size and close the program, the height value is updated in that file accordingly, but after i open the program again, the value seems not read by jv16 program because the vertical window size is always same and after i close the program without doing any resize, the height value is always set back to '484' in that file. Maybe this is the problem?
