The Start Up Manager in 2007 doesn't show those entries that I have already disbaled. It just shows those that are enabled - giving me the chouce to disable them. It doesn't show those I haev already disabled (in 2006) giving me the choice to re-enable.

In my PT2007, that info is kept in the subdirectory C:\Program Files\jv16 PowerTools\Backups\_StartupManager .


If PT2006 did it the same way, you would need to copy that subdirectory from the PT2006 Backups directory (if you still have it).

Seems strange that though. The disbaled items still show in Windoes Defender for exmaple - just as disabled. I would have thought they should still show in PT2007?

Well, I suppose that is because PT does not keep the information in the same place as Windows Defender ...


My C:\Program Files\jv16 PowerTools\Backups\_StartupManager\MainIndex.dat looks like this for three disabled items which do show as disabled in the Startup Manager window:
