2 x Registry Cleaner issues on my WinVista64 machine

When Registry Cleaner is ran, it scans registry values and keys.

However, I am having two issues which are quite annoying.

1. When Scanning process gets started, it hangs for about 30 seconds and then process goes on.

2. On the last part of scanning process (where threads running), Registry Cleaner just keeps scanning. I've waited for about 30 minutes and seen number of Keys analyzed gets up to 10 MILLIONS!! It just won't end!

I am running the latest version of jv16 PowerTools 2007 on WinVista x64.

I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue.

I believe some weeks ago, member Blackdex reported observing some problems with a Vista x64 system. I have not noticed a resolution for these reported in any Forum here ...

Do a search on system32 and Blackdex in the Beta Testing Forum ...

I tried the search but couldn't find it. But for what it's worth I can confirm these issues. Looks like you can't use registry cleaner on a Vista x64 system.

Thanks tullik. I've read them and I think what Blackdex wrote makes sence. But as you said no solution yet.

As it says on the Downloads page, the product doesn't yet support 64 bit versions of Vista.
