Just require a "clean" registry

I am not a nerd, just a average computer user, and having purchased a new computer running Vista I purchased powertools mainly to keep my registry clean. I could only download PT2006 but like a lot of people I cannot clean my 648 items. So I came to the forum and it appears that PT2007 may be the answer but as I can't load it I feel that I have wasted my money as PT2006 doesn't work under Vista or if it does it needs a computer programmer to make it work. :

Thank you very much tullik for your help.....I can't wait for the actual programme to be announced.....it changed my errors from 143 that I couldn't remove, down to two that I could remove.

However I think that it is naughty of macecraft to take my money for a programme that didn't work with Vista when if I could have been testing I would have got it for free.....okay I know that they money to carry on .... but only on programmes that work??

Oh yes, I know about Vista....however that does not excuse Macecraft telling me that their programme works with Vista when it clearly does not work correctly. If they had made it clear in the first place then I wouldn't be so disappointed with the company. Saying that is just the way it is with complex programmes is not good enough when you are making clear cut statements. If Ford state that there cars will run on petrol and then you buy one and find that it hops and jumps around, then I don't think Ford would state that the engine is a complex mechanical item and that is just the way it is...

Anyway I think we have covered this item, so I just look out for the new programme.
