I am running OS X 10.4 on my Intel iMac. I installed Parallels to enable me to install Win XP on this computer. Then I downloaded the latest beta version of jv16 and ran Registry Cleaner after installing, and it worked flawlessly. Also the Software Manager even percieved the Parallels program, which I did not expect. So, assuming jv16 is safe to run even in a virtual drive situation created by a different OS.
