Oldog wroteI always make a backup when I run the registry cleaner. When I go to the backup file all I have is a bunch of folders with the code name that jv16 has assigned. I have not had to, however if I were to need to retrieve the latest backup, there is no clue that I know of that would allow me to get the latest backup without going through every file there. Is there a way to monitor these files or assign my own file name?
In the Backup Tool, click on the "Created" column heading twice and the list appears in "most recent first" order. You can also right click a line and choose "Change description ..."
In the Settings Tool under the Backups tab, choose "Always ask ..." and "Generate ... and display it for editing" and you can then choose your own "Description" for new backups from the outset.
