Hello,
I have been a long time user of your registry cleaner (back when it was even free!) and religiously used it to keep my laptop running smoothly. I normally would do an aggressive scan and just hit remove all entries and everything always worked perfectly. So, when i bought a new laptop this past summer, I upgraded to RegSupreme Pro 1.4.0.48 and did a normal (not aggressive this time) scan on the hard drive. I had installed data on the second hard drive but only the factory installed programs were installed on the first hard drive, on which i was running RegSupreme. The first scan found 400-500 errors. I was surprised but went ahead and did my normal select all and remove. I then rebooted and to my surprise I couldn't get my computer to boot normally...not even enough to get back to RegSupreme and use the backup file. I had to use the factory CD to reinstall Windows XP again, etc and then decided to just get going on getting my computer up to speed.
I would like to use RegSupreme Pro regularly like I used to but am scared that it will crash my computer again. I just did another scan and it found around 400 errors again. I went through and removed some data/file oriented errors that I was sure were invalid but left the others. I did a save list so that in case someone could take a list of what RegSup is finding and wanting to remove and seeing what is critical objects that might have caused the first crash and should not be on the list. I can attach the file if someone could take a look.
Many thanks and I appreciate any insight as I do love the program but am now scared to use it to its potential!
