Reg Cleaner Won't Remove Items

I installed Office 2007. Since then, RC finds items, gos thru remove and the entries go away. Scan again and they are back. Many are in the shared common file folder. I could go in thru RegEdit and delete each entry, but am hesitant to do so. Anyone with the same issue? XP Pro is the system.

Are you referring to the old RegCleaner freeware program, or the Registry Cleaner feature of jv16 PowerTools? If to jv16 PT, what version you are using?

jv16 PT version 1.5.2.350. Reg Cleaner will remove entries, but there are 34 that will not go away.

The 34 items had special permissions attached. Changed each to full and the entries went away. Didn't have any issues until Office 07 was installed. Probably a problem with new software. Explorer 7 made Roxio Media Creator 7.5 DVD Creator unusable. Beware.
