I installed beta 2 and when it first came up it went to upgrade but it never did anyting. I have made sure my firewall has it cleared but it still never updates. Is update shut off in beta?

I have tried to update Vr.7 Beta and It will not update. I still have Vr.6 and have no problem updating the Version 6.

I have tried Beta Version 7 along with it on the same system and It will just not UPDATE.

I don't know what you mean with all those Vr's..

But the latest Stable version is v1.5.2.350.

And the latest Beta version is v1.7.0.361.

If you have one of these versions you won't get any update information.

Since these are the latest versions.

So it has nothing to do with your firewall.

There probebly is no update available :).

The Check for updates feature of jv16 PT 2007 betas is turned off so this is by design.
