All right, I'm going to approach this from a different direction:
There is a bug with the new trial system in Beta 2. When I attempt to start beta 2, which I did install in a new directory, the program shuts down immediately, noting (via messagebox) that my trial license has expired.
This is a major impediment as I can not evaluate the meat of the product for bugs... still.
