Hi,

I'm now translating a software into French, as well as its Help files.

So I've got to work on several ".html" files, before compiling them into ".chm".

I have to change some copyright things from year 2006 to year 2007, and some other things, and it's really boring opening some 40 or 50 .html. to work on it.

I sure have "Search and replace 98" software, but with many surprising results !

So : would it be possible that JV16PT includes some "searching and replacing" (and more) tool INTO files ? Kind of Mass Rename into files.

We could open a directory and then choose to change a string that lives in this directory's files.

In PT 2006, you can already do this with text type files.

Use File Finder (or File Tool) to get the html files you need to change in the list.

Then select lines and use More functions-->Find and replace ...

thanks ! but i don't want to change the HTML files name, but strings that are inside them !

i've got many files in which i have 2006. i'd like to change this into 2007.

but i'll check your idea, got no time now !
