The other day I helped a friend with his XP-pc.
The machine was ever so lame and slow like being half asleep.
Now listen to this:
Unchecked some 25 useless items in systemstart.
Found some "dead" entry leftovers in "Installed-Programs"-list which were impossible to get out.......as we all know.
Installed JV16 last version (30 days trial)
First run with REGISTRY CLEANER on "mild" = 4155 mummies (!!! Guiness book!!) I deleted those in 200er-chunks not to suffocate the pc.
Second run on "hot" = 760 mummies
Reboot, defrag C, registry-defrag, reboot.
Result:
pc before JV: like a three-legged mule
pc after JV: race-horse!
And all is working!
Dead entries gone from Installed-list too.
What more can you say?
