Once in a great while, I will look around the Internet to see if I can get a good system utilities program. One of the things that I look for in such a program is a feature that enables users to do everything they want to with just ONE CLICK. Some programs that use this feature are: WinCleaner, SystemSuite, and System Mechanic, but they really don't do as good of a job as jv16 PowerTools does in truly cleaning up users' systems. Please, to the developer of this software, add an "one-click" button to jv16 PowerTools 2007. If you do that, I'd buy a copy of it right away, and I think quite a few other people would, too. What do other folks think? Keep up the good work.

1-click button software "sucks" and is very dangerous for users who know not enough about what's the 1-click is doing exactly to their system :?

So, for heavens sake, Jouni, don't do this please :

Already now we almost daily have users at the forum who didn't know exactly what they're doing and had disasters and then try asking us how to recover which sometimes is asking us for the moon : (though we try always to do even the impossible : )

I know of a Cleaner-Tool which comes with a ONE-CLICK supplied.

It is in every TuneUp Utilities versions.

My experience is that the results of the ONE-CLICK-Search are mainly "dust" and not going deep as JV16 or RegSupreme do.

The user is also able to see which items are found for deletion.

I wouldn`t want a ONE-CLICK-thing for JV16 really...........

I have used a couple of "one click" progs and here's the deal; for example

WinXP Manager will do and DESTROY a lot of important settings, in my estimation you must be very experienced to use it. On the other hand I also use TuneUp Utilities 2207 one click, but it is very mild in the algorythm and even when you use their reg clean up specifically it will go deeper than the one click, very safe (as a rule). Not to sound like a sucky but jv12 is the only cleaner I'm aware of where you not only can select either safe or aggressive but also you can "fix" as well as remove AND it makes a backup (as do some others). I have found most users now days do NOT back up their reg entries on a daily or even weekly basis. DO NOT count on system restore to back up your user stuff, especially with the registration schemes used by developers these days. I go back to the "Trash-80" days and can tell you Macecraft has done an excellent job with jv16. :?

i agree with Sineide I used the safe mode and it decided that my printer drivers were a nasty. I didnt notice until I went to use my printer,,but it was not a prob as they had been saved and i just fixed them again ..all good . I am still working my way around this program but so far it is really good ,and if you use the tools and dont take shortcuts It will do anything you want and the interface is so simple to use. The backup is really good
