Directory issue

I've just downloaded and installed version 2006. It overwrote the existing 2005 version and works ok. However, the name of the program directory was not changed. It still reads jv16 Power Tools 2005. Is there a way to make a change to the directory name? Or do I have to delete the program and reinstall version 2006?

You can simply rename the directory name to "jv16 PowerTools 2006".

After this, you must open MainSettings.dat from the application's directory (by default at: c:\program files\jv16 PowerTools 2005). You can use any text editor to open the file, for example Notepad.

Update the directory information inside the file, i.e. change "...\jv16 PowerTools 2005\..." to "...\jv16 PowerTools 2006\..."

And of course any shortcuts you use to launch jv16PT must also change to point to the new directory ...
