I just installed Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, and I am having the exact type of problem.
After RegSupreme Pro 1.4 finds all of the entries to be removed in the registry, when I use the Registry Cleaner, I highlight them all, press the fix button, then a box asking me to name the backup appears, and then it takes a long time, as if it is freezing up, and it never gives me the summary of how many items could be fixed, and it never removes any items at all.
I have a licensed version of RegSupreme Pro 1.4, that I just bought online on Saturday, February 10, 2007, and the only way that I can make the product work is to uninstall it, clean out the registry of all traces of the program, clean my hard drive of all references to the program, and re-instlall it. Then, it works only once, and when I try to use the Registry Cleaner again, I get the freeze-up problem.
Please assist me, administrator, or else I want a full refund of my money for this product. I had no problems with this product when I downloaded the 30-day trial version of RegSupreme Pro 1.4, but this new, licensed program just does not work right at all. I used jv16 PowerTools for years with Windows XP, but with Vista I am having nothing but problems.
Please advise ASAP.
Thank you.
