startup manager question

In the startup manager, i still have entries for items that were uninstalled from the computer listed. these items were disabled prior to removing the software. How can I clear them out of the startup manager?

I had one disabled item. The Remove button remained inactive when the item was selected. So I enabled the item. Then it could be removed. So enabling first should allow you to clear out your disabled items.

During the removal, I got the Backup Yes/No dialogue. I replied Yes. However, the backup tool shows no backup for the item. That is a bug.
