Registy Compactor Won't Show Any Hives

I just upgraded to v1.5.2.350 and find that I'm still having one prob that I experienced with earlier versions.

When I run the Registry Compactor nothing shows up in the Hive column (or any of the other columns). Whe I run Registry Information that utility shows all relevant info for all the hives. On a way earlier version the Compactor worked but since I haven't run it in a while I don't know at which version it started having problems.

Looking at another post here, I tried uninstalling jvPT, rebooting and reinstalling. Still no go.

Running Win MCE2005 SP2 fully patched; Windows Firewall; AVG 7.1. Windows installed on C: (page file on E. Logged on as user in Admin group.

Any ideas?

I'm using jv16 PowerTools v1.5.2.350 and am having the same problem. I have not had any earlier versions of jv16 PowerTools installed on the computer.

My computer is using Windows XP Pro SR2. I was running as the local admin account.

The other features seem to work.

This problem is now fixed, the fixed version of jv16 PowerTools 2007 will be released later today.

I've downloaded v1.7.0.405. Un-installed the old version, installed the new version, and the problem is still there. The hives still are not listed. I've run as the local admin account as will as from an account in the local admin group.

For each account, the software checks and declares:

: Testing system for registry access...

: Testing system for filesystem access...

: All tests passed! You should be able to fully use the program on your system.
