My request is: please give RegSupreme the same features and options of JV16 PT 1.4.1's registry cleaner, the ability of creating an ignore list (like in the old RegCleaner or in JV16 2006) keeping, of course, the faster engine of RS and fixing cleaning bugs.
Well, I am trying the latest RS. OK. It has virtually no features!
1) I would like that Juoni added the same Options of JV16 1.4.1 (like Don't create any backups, Show ignored entries, Disable screen saver and all the rest is in that window except maybe Update the registry fixer database that is useless in RS. Then, clicking Continue, the ability to select exactly what I want in the Select performed scans section, so that we can exclude "duplicate", aliases entries... there's no need to select Hkey_users if it's selected current_user or vice versa!
2) I would like a simple window where enter my personal ignore list!
About the usage of RS: I performed an aggressive scan: it found 424 entries (although many were aliases), I clicked Fix (I'd prefer Remove) and it said: 0 entries were fixed, 184 were removed. Why only 184 if it found 424? then I checked the backup in Notepad and saw that only about 30 entries were in the *.reg file of the backup. So why 424, then 184, then about only 30?
and last, a bug. It wasn't able to delete one entry. It was a simple empty registry key of an obsolete software. I cleaned twice and it wasn't able to remove it. I had to remove it manually in regedit and of course I don't have a backup of it.
If you read this Juoni, please follow my advice and implement what I requested possibly in RS 1.5
many thanks,
