OSDMenu box appears on desktop after using Registry Cleaner

After doing my first registry clean with Reg Cleaner an OSDMenu box opens on my desktop. Inside the box is: LayerSection: -> 1.

There is an OK button. If I hit the OK button it closes. I gather from a previous experience that this has something to do with a Creative entry for my Soundblaster card/software. How do I eliminate this as it's causing problems with one of my son's Sim games.

What product and version you are using exactly? Have you tried simply to restore the backup created by the product, does that solve the problem?

I am using the Registry Cleaner from jv16 PowerTools 2006. Unfortunately I hit the wrong key and didn't create a backup! I know this problem is related to Creative for my Soundblaster Live! card and its associated software.
