Error Message jv 16 power tools

Just heard about jv16 from a friend went to site and downloaded trail version of jv 16 several times and get the following error message each time I try to install---

Your license file is missing or corrupted, the program cannot run without it.

I have nerver used this program or tried to obtain a license, just want to try it.

Please make sure you install the product to an empty directory, not over any old application. The problem could be solved by uninstalling and then reinstalling the product.

No help still get same error message. Have removed the sofware completely and get same message when I try to install.

I uninstalled and rebooted pc then downloaded again, same error message. How ever I am able to down load and install version 1.3.0.195 from another site and it works. Then tried to install 1.5 version over 1.3 and get same error message. So removed all versions and downloaded 1.3.0.195 again and it works.??
