These kind of applications can contain real-time scanning features that scan all applications that are started, these kinds of scans can interfere with our products and cause them to hang.
I'am working with McAfee since about 10 years without any problems.
I have disabled many programs McAfee, network(ISP), spam and spydetection with NO RESULTS.
i have installed and uninstalled after "HANGING" following programs of Macecraft
RegCleaner V430 (Old version of two three years ago)
Regsupreme V1.4.1
RegSupreme Pro 120/38, 140/44, 140/48
jv16PowerTools V2005, V2006 152/342--152/344
All these programs are "installed successfully", but after activating one of these programs, they ALL HANG after 4 à5 seconds !!!!
