Hallo,

Is there anyone who has the same problems running Powertools2006 and RegSupreme Pro 140/48 after installing the new Internet Explorer V7.0 Bèta3 OR release Candidate1.

jv16 Powertools2006 and RegSupreme Prof do not FUNCTION anymore since the install.

Since restart with Iexplorer 6.0 SP2 , WANT WORK ANYMORE jv16 Powertools 2006(152/344) and RegSupreme Prof(140/48)

Every program are successfully installed (come on screen), when we actived one of them, after 3 à 4 seconds ""THEY ALL HANG""

What antivirus product you are using? Could you try to run our products with all antivirus, antispyware etc programs disabled?

These kind of applications can contain real-time scanning features that scan all applications that are started, these kinds of scans can interfere with our products and cause them to hang.

I'am working with McAfee since about 10 years without any problems.

I have disabled many programs McAfee, network(ISP), spam and spydetection with NO RESULTS.

i have installed and uninstalled after "HANGING" following programs of Macecraft

RegCleaner V430 (Old version of two three years ago)

Regsupreme V1.4.1

RegSupreme Pro 120/38, 140/44, 140/48

jv16PowerTools V2005, V2006 152/342--152/344

All these programs are "installed successfully", but after activating one of these programs, they ALL HANG after 4 à5 seconds !!!!

Hello Jean-Marie,

There had been reported similar problems which concerned DEP-settings in XP.

So check if you have DEP (Data Execution Prevention) enabled?

Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > (TAB) Advanced > Performances > (TAB) Data Execution Prevention) > Activate prevention for all programms ... (or similar, as I do have a french version).

Or you can add the concerned programms to the exclusion list,

or you can activate "Activate prevention only for Windows programms and services"

I have set "DEP" to "all programs with exclusion list with PowerTools and RegSupreme Pro"and i scanned 5 times with Reg Supreme. Only 1 time the program did the scanning to the END. All the other times he still hangs after 4 à 5 seconds.

I never changed DEP before (i stands as Windows programs and services).

Thanks for the info, I look further and let you now the results.

don't loose track of the initial post: the problems started after installing IE v7.0. Beta 3 OR release Canidate 1 and they continue even after uninstalling that version of IE and after reinstalling IE 6.0 SP2.

So, it seems to me IE v7.0 (...) could be the culprit, but why and how and why do the problems persist after uninstalling it and reinstalling IE 6.0?

I have changed the "DEP" in "All programs and services with exclusion of jv16 PowerTools and RegSupreme Pro" as JEPE told me and i got ONE success on 5 times with RegSupreme Pro V140/48.

So conclusion "That's no the CAUSE" of "hanging"..

I'am looking further and let your know the results.

PS: I never changed the "DEP" before today: was marked as "only Windows programs and services"

Hallo,

With a FREE (15d) "Registry Booster" i found 158 mismatches in the registry !!!!! RegSupr "hangs" and Reg.booster ONLY fixes 15.

So i will do a "Format" of the harddisk C: and a whole NEW WindowsXp installation will be "the only solution" to have a new properly "Register"
