Installed on Computer 1 perfect, on Computer 2 not work

I downloaded and installed jv16pt on one computer. Then, I bought the personal license. I think I am allowed to install in up to 5 computers. This is plenty because I only have 3 computers.

The first install is perfect. jv16pt runs perfectly.

The second install looked like it went well, until I tried to run it. jv16pt hangs. I can only close jv16pt using Task Manager or by right-clicking on the task bar and selecting close. Nothing will start.

I did the second install differently than the first install. On the second install, I first deleted an older version of jv16pt. I don't think there was an uninstall to run. Even if there was, it is too late now because I already removed the old version by deleting.

Another thing I did differently on the second install is I ran install and immediately copied the license I purchased from the first computer to the second computer. Only then did I start jv16pt.

Both computers run Windows XT Professional. The second computer is an older computer with 250 MB RAM and 500 MHz CPU.

I don't know what other details might be helpful. Let me know what other details so I can post them.

I would like to know how I can get jv16pt working on the second computer. I think my second computer really needs the speedup I can do to it with jv16pt.

I can share the directory on computer #1 on which jv16 pt works. Then, computer #2 on which jv16 pt does not work can see the shared directory.

(a) Would I have better luck if I copy the image of the shared directory to computer #2?

(b) Or should running it out of computer #1's shared directory from computer #2 work? But if I do this, which registry would jv16 pt fix, computer #1 or computer #2?
