When Updating to new release I lose Comments

First: Great product that has been very helpful!

My problem: I utilize the Commenting capability of jv16 for every single entry in all locations. Over time, this obviously adds up to quite a large number of entries. However, when I try updating to a newer release, I lose all of these comments.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to put back the Comments?

P.S. On a future release, please consider allowing one to highlight multiple lines and enter the Comment once (instead of having to enter for each line).

How are you updating your software, do you uninstall the old version first, or do you simply install the new version over the old version? If you do the latter, the comments should not be removed.
