On the advice of a colleague I have been trialling jv16 2006 for a few days, with much sucess using the registry cleaner.
However each time I try to use the Software manager, the progress bar gets about a tenth of the way and stalls. After a minute the programme stops responding and I have to close it down with task manager.
Reinstalling doesn't change anything, same problem occurs after a reboot.
All the other aspects of the programme appear to work
My system is a Dell Inspiron 9300, 2 Gb ram, XP sp2 - Full McAfee Security suite running.
Question: Any ideas on how to resolve this problem (before I part with my cash!) Is the trial software 'hobbled' in some way?
