Hello -

Seems like I should know how to do this, but evidently not. I'm trying to install the new beta version of RegSupreme Pro while still keeping my original RegSupreme Pro. That means I'll have two versions for awhile. I've tried it twice and the beta version keeps replacing my original version. I don't want that. I want them seperated.

During the installation I erased "Program Files" and wrote in "My Documents" but the beta still replaced the original RegSupreme Pro.

How do I install the beta so it is seperate from the original - so I'll have both versions? Please give details.

Thanks.

Well

I had the "old" RegSupreme Pro installed in =>

"C:\Program Files\RegSupreme Pro"

and I have installed the RC1 in =>

"C:\Program Files\RegSupreme Pro RC1"

without any problems and I can run them separately.

Although there are issues when running Registry Cleaner of the RC1 I described in the beta-testing section of this forums (but this has nothing to do with the installation directories, because it seems to be a BUG of the program itself).

Most likely the installation program just replaced the shortcut pointing to the old version with a shortcut pointing to the new beta version.

So, you should still find the old version from C:\program files\.

Thank you very much. I have both versions successfully installed thanks to your help. Much appreciated.
