Help! I am running jV16 2006. I used Startup Manager to temporarily (I thought) turn off a number of programs that were set to run on bootup. Without looking closely, I selected 'Remove" rather than "Disable". Since these changes were only to be temporary, I did not make a backup.
Now when i open Startup Manager, i find the programs that I marked "Remove" are no longer listed. I also find the using msconfig does not restore the 'Removed' programs.
Is there any way to recapture the programs I "Removed" other than uninstalling and then reinstalling them.
In the future, read twice, act once!
