Regsupreme 1.3 update - hangs when starting the scan

I recently updated my my Regsupreme Pro and all is does now is hang up. Do I download the update again?

What version you are using? And could you give me step-by-step instructions what you do before the product hangs?

This has to do with just Regsupreme 1.3 that I downloaded/updated.

The download went fine, but when I open it up and click on Normal or Aggressive, it does nothing. When I do a Ctl-Alt-Del, it indicates that Regsupreme is not responding.

Yes, I too am having the same problem. When I click on the executable, I get the standard RegSupreme window, asking for Normal or AggressI've cleaning. Clicking on either just hangs. Nothing after that.

I am running Windows XP SP2, 2.4 Gig processor 640 Meg RAM.

Will my license accept dropping back down to 1.2 until this is fixed?

Did an uninstall of former Regsupreme and installed the new 1.3

Same problem! Hangs after choosing Normal or Agressive...

Clearly there is something wrong with this version :-(

I am using:

Windows XP Home SP2, all other Window updates also applied

Could you try to delete the FileCache.dat file under the program's Data folder (usually at C:\Program Files\RegSupreme\Data).

Then run the application and select Skip when it asks you to update the cache.

If you now try to run the scan does it still hang?

No, the program runs okay.

If i delete the .dat file and skip the update of the cache, the program doesn't hang. But if i restart the program it asks again for an update of the cache then it hangs again (after the update) when i try to scan the register.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know.

To fix the problem, simply download the file again and install it over the old version.

Downloaded the file (wich was somewhat smaller then the original), installed it, but unfortunately experiencing the same problem.

Could you verify its version is 1.3.0.29? You can see its version by Right Clicking the application's file (RegSupreme.exe), select Properties and Version.

Perhaps you received the same old version from your browser's cache. We get this problem all the time because we don't change the setup file's name with each version.

No, it was still version 1.3.0.28.

I downloaded the file again and after installation it shows as 1.3.0.29.

After running the program all went well!

I just download the RegSupreme program (1.3 - 1.3.0.29), and now all works well here as well.

It will be convenient if the program has an option called "About" under the "Help" which shows the compleet version number...
