With these search words (all the keys existed per regedit in HKCU and HKLM)

Registry Finder only returned these hits

When the found keys were removed, a subsequent search found one or two additional keys.

It took 8 search/remove passes to remove all the sought keys.

Options for all searches: all 5 HKEY boxes checked, Analyze key names box checked, no other option boxes checked.

Note: I had first tried these search words: Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0, Mozilla Firefox 1.0, and Mozilla Firefox\1.5.0, but also got incomplete results, so I then used the search words shown above.

Are you running the program in the default English language, or are you using some translation?

I have tried to reproduce the problem but failed, the feature works every time. It's also very strange that you have only the Analyze key names option checked, but still per the screenshot the tool also lists entries as well. This shouldn't happen if only the Analyze key names option is checked.

Could you re-run the tool with these settings and verify the bug still occurs?

After the restore, I repeated the scan with the same search words and settings as used in the original post.

This time I hit not just the 6 lines shown in the screenshot there, but 62 lines out of HKCU and HKLM -- what I was expecting in the first place!

Then I tried just the three search words described in the note -- got the same 62 lines. There were 35 lines with {Key} in name and value and 27 with actual data in name and value.

I'll close the item as "could not reproduce."

There is however an intermittent and fortunately infrequent variation in what Registry Finder finds. I've noticed it before and may have made a not well documented report during one of the beta or RC versions. I'll report if/when something like this happens again -- eventually you'll spot it unless the program enjoys playing with us. :
