tool to manage services

If possible I would like to see a tool which lists services running on the computer and gives up the ability to remove the ones that are not necessary.

How would the feature differ from the Control Panel's service feature?

I would like to be able to actually remove services. Some programs put useless services where the only option is disable, sometimes services are left behind by uninstalled software, one such software was the ipod stuff added when I installed quicktime. I removed the ipod software but it left a service behind. I have another service in which I can't remove because it was bundled with other software.

The control panel services to my knowledge doesn't have a way to remove these services, the only option is to disable.
