I haven't found any reference to this while searching the forum. I also looked at the handbook but didn't find the answer that I was looking for.

Is it possible empty the recycle bin using "File Cleaner"?

There is no way in the File Cleaner Options to point at RECYCLER.

For what it's worth, you can point to RECYCLER with File Finder.

You can also Flush the RECYCLER directory with the automation tool. I just tried that and it didn't seem to hurt anything -- then I deleted another file and it went into RECYCLER OK. Restore from RECYLER also worked.

I think some people are looking for a way to automate the task. Personally, I just use "empty recycle bin."

I believe "Recycle bin" is just a win explorer interface to RECYCLER (or vice versa) ... almost the same thing ... but maybe not?
