Context: I downloaded the setup version of uninstalr 2.6, but its .exe is promply deleted by Kaspersky.

I'm sure I could find ways to ignore this behavior inside Kaspersky, but I wanted to at least inform this beforehand. My report is in another language, so I'll try translating it and then post the original version.

I'm using the free version of Kaspersky.

Thank you for reporting! We have asked Kaspersky to kindly stop doing this. Usually they fix issues like this shortly.

Curious..

I downloaded and installed version 2.6 last night, I have Kaspersky Standard (version 21.20.8.805 released on 12 or February 2025)
No detection
I also forced the manual scan.. No problems either

I use Kaspersky Plus vers. 21.20.8.505 and Uninstalr was recognized as Trojan and was deleted.
What is to do?
Regards,

You can use the antivirus program's "exclude" or "allow" feature to ask it not to scan the file. Or, you can wait a day or two for them to fix this false positive detection.
