Reporting back, as promised.
Removal of the empty folders was a LOT of work, so many clicks, about 1400. My mouse finger & hand is fatigued!
However, the OS seems slightly more snappy and faster in performance. JV16 PT is helping.
I rechecked the Adobe Acrobat, which is an infamously finicky software. It is still working well. So thank you! :-)
Please find attached a screen grab of the "Registry Errors."
These are shared to ask a similar QUESTION: OK to delete these, please?
I am quite hostile to Chromium by Alphabet/Google. Not sure how this even got onto my PC, as Chrome browser was NEVER installed, not even for a second. How odd! Please see the ORANGE box in screen grab. Definitely deleting these. Goodbye.
In general there are not many errors listed, as they are fully bounded by the RED box. Thirty-one in total. So a manageable number.
However, there are several references to MAILWASHERPRO, which is a SW that I use and enjoy.
QUESTION: Does the fact that a key may be "empty" cause the JV16 cleaner to assume a key is QUOTE Unneeded END QUOTE??
With respect, one asks, QUESTION: if this is perhaps a bit too aggressive??
There are a few references to "formscentral," which related to my Adobe Acrobat. I'm keeping those, empty and "Unneeded" or not.
Next, the references to "Design Science" relates to my MATHTYPE software, which I use and enjoy. Keeping those, empty or not.
Finally, the references to WOW6432 are from 32-bit software installed in this 64-bit Windows machine.
Last polite QUESTION: How are these four considered as "broken file system references,"? Please explain?
Thank you so much for the responsive support. I especially appreciate your detailed explanation of the forum defaults.
Your kindness is evident. Uber/Mega-kudos!
