Another suggestion.
When a search returns a value or subkey, make an option to select the containing key. For example, suppose i search for "Xmencmp3", and the search returns
@="C:\\PROGRA~1\\COMMON~1\\XINGSH~1\\MPEGEN~1\\xmencmp3.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
then I would like to be able with a right click option to select the containing CLSID; perhaps in a sub-window. From there i could backup and delete the containing key. Right now, i have to use the JV16 lookup to go into the regedit and do all that manually.
This would select, in this example, this whole CLSID key:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
@="EncodeMP3Mem2 Class"
@="C:\\PROGRA~1\\COMMON~1\\XINGSH~1\\MPEGEN~1\\xmencmp3.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
@="Xmencmp3.EncodeMP3Mem2.1"
@="{A97BBEA0-2D4C-11D3-B244-444553540000}"
@="Xmencmp3.EncodeMP3Mem2"
