That one is OK. The column sort code only shows in debug mode, which is how beta versions run.

Don't use "imagebam.com" to post screenshots, use the "upload attachment" possibility of the forum software instead. It's the tab to the right of the "Options" tab in the "Post a reply" window.

Just to mention (for the history record) that user=wphs was the first to reported this problem in Feb-2011.

Ah, ok. For some reason I didn't realize this, that was the reason for the delay in fixing this issue.

Tullik, you made me curious so I ran the following tests and perhaps I found a clue?:

1. Uninstalled/Removed everything from PTLite 2011-beta1 and -beta2

2. Installed in 2 separate new directories PTLite 2011-beta1 and -beta2

3. Immediately after installation of beta1 , I ran CFMC with standard scan policy, 25 errors found, I clicked 'Fix'.

The errors were fixed WITHOUT intervention of the backup dialog.

Thanks for the clue, the problem is now fixed!

The two"health" meters on the main screen appear to be swapped or at least incorrectly aligned!

The meters indicate 47% and 73% and respectively for pc health and registry health. This assumes that the labels are properly aligned UNDER the meters

The hints below the Meters tell me that the health score

for my computer is 73 out of 100

for my registry is 47 out of 100

This does not match the apparent values on the meters!

You are correct, this is indeed a bug! The same bug also exists in jv16 PowerTools. The issue is now fixed, the next released version of PowerTools Lite and jv16 PowerTools will contain the fix.

No, I cannot confirm this issue, for me the PFK's work ok! using PTLite-Beta2 and W7-x86 + XP-SP3.

With x64 Win 7, the function keys do this, which matches the Help menu drop down list:

f1 = Open Handbook

f2 = Visit online discussion forum...

f3 = Live Support

f8 = License Tool

f9 = Read License Agreement

f10 = Check for updates...

f11 = Homepage...

f12 = About PowerTools Lite ...

The help menu was different in beta1. Perhaps waree was looking at that ... ?

The Help menu in PTLite-2011-Beta1 indeed differs from Beta2. But with XP-SP3 the function keys specified in the Beta1 Help menu are working as specified!

waree's report suggests he made notes in beta1 about what the function keys did. Then, in beta2, assumed they should do the same thing as in beta1.

Here is the current Change Log:

Bug: File > Backups > File > Close is not translated. Bug: If you remove something, backup is created automatically, but if you open Settings window, it says user is always asked before a backup is created. Bug: The tooltips of Main Window's health gauges are not correct. Improvement: When the program starts for the first time, it automatically uses a translation if one exists for the current language of the system. Improvement: The About window is now final. Improvement: Added support for command line parameters.

We are currently waiting for the final icons for the Main Window. After this, it's time to release the Release Candidate.

Are there any bugs that have not been yet fixed in Beta2, or have not been reported fixed in the above Change Log?

Is the current version available for download? Things are looking good here but I'd like to run the updated beta2 before the RC comes out!

The download for beta2 is dated over a week ago. Has that been patched?
